Thought the first bit of the interview they embarrassed him and tried to trivialise the appointment with their talk of his off-field proclivities.

Agree. But then they really did throw their support behind him. Both Hirdy and Browny were with him on the recent Ireland tour, so that means they share a special bond.

I'm not surprised it was Kirk. I wonder how this round will go..
Vicky Pollard: Oh my god I so can't believe you just said that this is like the time I threw Anita's nokia in the canal as a joke and she's like you have well got to buy me another one and I'm like get over it and then Paul came over who's adopted anyway and started saying that I fancy Mark Bennett but oh my god just because I have sex with someone doesn't mean I fancy them.

Can this team lift under adversity? YES

When Wally died, I thought we'd pack it in and lose big time like when George's young fella passed away.

But last year against the Dees we dug deep in an emotional encounter and although there is no comparison to losing Wally this week, we are under similar pressure.

God, I hope it's a more entertaining game than that!!

I was at the game versus Melbourne last year at Telstra Dome and I enjoyed the game and the victory. If entertainment is such a priority for you, maybe you should go see a movie instead.

I don't think you understand the concept of sport - it's meant to be about entertainment as well as winning.

Then why do people watch soccer.

The beauty of soccer is that quite often, not only is it not entertaining, but nobody wins.

And often it's boring and no-one wins but the acting is wonderful.
