Goldy won't be umpiring, but he will be in the stands cheering for Jimmie, Lloydy and Scotty. GO BOYS GO!

I still havn't forgiven McInerney for his discraceful umpiring in the Sydney V Brisbane game at the SCG on a Saturday night last year.

The Lions first 4 goals came from dodgy free kicks from McInerney. The one that really irked me was the obvious dive from Michael Voss that everyone else saw except McInerney that resulted in Bris. first goal.

He's chasing Goldspink for the coverted worst umpire crown.
      Swannies for life!

Who says the Umps don't like us. How about that gift 50 metre. Of course we couldn't capitalise on it.

You can't be calling blokes 'weak dogs' Nico. What does that say to the kids at home? Buchanon could have had a really nasty scratch, or the top of a pimple knocked off.

            Umpire clearly loves dogs.

Well he was a little terrier tonight. Not a bulldog though, they were playing in Brisbane.

I know that the free kick was given for the slander, but I thought I saw Johnson kick at bucky while he was on the ground just before he made the comment. Perhaps that pre-empted the umpires decision? Did any one else notice the love kick?

I didn't notice it but it was noted by the Triple M commentators.

I thought so too. I assumed it was for that until the "weak dog" comment came up. At the end of the game they seemed to be suggesting he'd said something else that they couldn't repeat!

Of Course Sheedy couldn't let it pass.

I didn't here him complaining about the goal THEY were awarded a few weeks ago against the Hawks that actually came off a HAWTHORN players boot in the dying minutes of the game.
I think they won by 5 pts.

And yet again he claimed Llyod was hard done by. Booo Hoooo!

I guess it's hard when Goldy ain't there to carry them.

Was under the impression it was more for the kicking the player on the ground rather than the comment

The umpiring was ****HOUSE. not going to comment on which side got the best of it, we're all partial fans and its obvious we'll come up with different opinions but
                              1. The Laycock (point) was not touched, should have been a goal... the goal umpire was going to give it but the field umpire conferred and it was awarded a point.
                              2. I though the free kick for Barry Hall towards the end was pretty weak, there was a little bit of a touch on the neck but it wasn't deliberate and Hall would barely have felt it... PLAY ON. But if they call it (its technically a free) they have to stick with that standard.
                              3. I though the 50 against Johnson for dissent was also fairly soft, players get angry after a free's called against them, if thats the standard the umpires set then there'd be 10+ fifties given a game.
                              4. Very inconsistent rulings on holding the ball, they went both ways so no particular complaints just a comment that the umpires need to decide how lenient they'll be at the start of the match and STICK WITH THE SAME STANDARD.
