Why did we let Meiklejohn go?

I was hopeful about Mick Le John as I was with LRT. We ditched him even though we were 4 wins and two losses with him in the team - not many possessions, but a fair number of hit outs. Is he playing somewhere in the sticks or was he injured?

I think there is a fair chance we got rid of him because he was no good.

Wonder what his reserves stats were like. If similar then no wonder he was given the heavho.

Hes playing in the SANFL I think its with Port Adelaide.

I have more confidence in Earl Shaw than Meiklejohn. I think they tried playing him at fullback as well.

Jimmy Meiklejohn was an honest battler at best. Leigh Brockman range....only used because we were short of tall options (just like nearly every year).
