Good to win. Combination of us coming out hard at the start of the last qtr (as we did against Brisbane) and Essendon just stopping to a walk (as they often do).
Still not impressive but hopefully this will give some confidence for next week and they can slowly build on it.
At least the game was good to watch rather than the stoppage rubbish we've become used to.
Need to really work on our forward structure though.
Great games by Kirk and Barry. Very good by Hall and Buchanan. Some good things by J Bolton and Ablett.

Our kicking at goal was pretty ordinary again (most of those posters were missing anyway).
Love Ablett's ability to kick from outside 50 though - great to watch. Gives us a real weapon with Davis (when he comes back!).

I think that shows just how far behind the pack we are. Our best win for the season was against the Lions and everyone is beating them, and they smashed Essendon!

A good game. There were many interesting passages of play. The Swans only won the last quarter but it was enough. I knew the Swans were a good chance at 3/4 time because the Swans kicked the last couple and the Bombers are always cr@p in the last quarter.
Most interesting umpiring decision: 50 metres against J Johnson for calling his opponent a weak something.
Great moments:
Vogels' goal and Moore's goal - you will always remember your first goal in your first game.
Buchanan's display of soccer skills that set MOL up for a goal.
LRT's second, third and fourth effort in one passage of play that almost set up another goal.
Lots of second efforts.
The last quarter.
Bomber player I'd most like to have playing for the Swans: McPhee. Very good effort.
