i posted this in another thread ..its about spriggs

I think he can play...he just not doing it.
If the likes of Schneids, Bucky and Mcveigh get dropped...Spriggs should be out next week.

I think when he was in the reserves at the start and he debuted for the Swans... he was ok, but he seems to ride
... the only time people notice him is when he stuffs up and doesnt contribute....which is all the time

but will being in the reserves do him any good?
he may be the fittest the club have ever had..but he has to work on his skills, and footy thinking....whats the use of having a fit player if they dont create the options they are suppose to
A little man is sitting in a room with two doors. One door says "Do Not Enter" and the other says "Do Not Exit". So he just sits there, holding his hat.

Better than most Swans games though probably. Imagine if we good enough to blow a side away in the first quarter, you could relax and enjoy the game........ahhh dreams!

Also, remember to factor in the time spent on the bench due to Roosy's (I think this looks better than "Roosies") rotation system.

Agree wholheartedly with the Roosy's observation. Much better than the alternative.

Maxfield's 'injury' is good for Spriggs. He will be given a few weeks to show something. I hope he is not far off because he does seem to be able to get his hands on it quite a bit. Maybe he's a natural left footer. Wonder if he has given that a go?

Ahh, so hes been kicking with his wrong leg all this time!

He should be an in-and-under player who only ever handballs to outside receivers. If he ever finds himself with the ball in space, he should handball to his own advantage and soccer it along the ground towards our goal, or disguise a kick to the boundary.

                      LOL.

Well I voted no because he gets hands on the ball, and I still have some hope.

However, the 90 degree two meter kick straight into the arms of a passing WCE player still has me completely amazed. If it was to one of our players in our F50 and we scored a goal from it it would have been called "freakish" (rather like Power's kick against Essendon). Instead it looked straight out bizarre.

                        Comparing LRT and Spriggs
We can't drop Spriggs based on that data, He should be able to sneak up on players and kick goals with out being seen.

He should turn himself into a midfield version on Andrew Dunkley. Take possession and handball.

Well I am dumbfounded. 56% of RWO voters in this poll think that Spriggs should remain in the side. Have you people been paying him any attention while he's been out on the field?

Maybe they fear he'll be replaced by Fosdike in a few weeks.

Look I am not particularly a Spriggs fan but...

On your basis we will have no team, I'd like to know who has disposed of the ball consistently well this season!

Spriggs and Bevan at least get stuck in, albeit with mistakes, McVeigh e.g. was particularly disappointing when he came back two weeks ago.

If you want a real waste of space stick to LRT.
