LRT tries but is not very succesful, and probably does need some time in the Reserves, especially if Jolly and Ball come back.

Still doesn't mean Spriggs should not go too.

Has Spriggs ever delivered the ball to a Swans player?

In training, as he doesn't have any other choice.

I was actually thinking maybe they should tell him to kick it to the defenders, then he'll hit Hall on the chest, (who will spill it in surprise).

Like in golf, hitting out of the trees. If you aim to miss the trees you will hit it. If you aim for the trees you will miss.

Everytime he had his hands on the ball I was looking at the free essendon players, trying to guess which one of them was going to have the ball kicked to them.
Maybe the swans should wear port power jerseys on Sunday as well, give us a 50-50 chance

I understand that theory - have you been watching me play golf?

Training does not count - I bet he misses most of the time then anyway.

But as you say, if we told him to kick to the defenders, he would misss anyway and our players would spill it in surprise.

Yes , he needs time in the twos.
He seems uncertain of his role and spends most of the game going for a jog , watching the football.

No doubt he will become an important player for us, but his form doesn't merit a place in the firsts at the moment.

I'm convinced that the entire Spriggs family have cast votes in this poll.

Why do people think his disposal will "improve with confidence"? He's had no confidence for 69 games...?!?!
Captain Logic is not steering this tugboat.

Because he had a knee reconstruction, struggled to get back into Geelong's side, got delisted, was left in the reserves for the first few games of the season and then got promoted into a team that is struggling with confidence. So, if anyone could be lacking in confidence, it would be him.

But, they are all excuses really. It doesn't really matter what the problem is - all that matters is whether he is contributing to the side. Unfortunately he kind of isn't.

He doesn't actually look to be struggling with confidence when he plays. That usually manifests itself as decision making errors. He looks to be making decisions OK- just can't hit a target by foot. I'm not particularly "confident" in his ability to turn it around but I did vote to keep giving him a chance. Now that I've given it more thought I'd probably rather see one of our young midfielders given a run instead of him.

He does actually have some good attributes and is not completely lacking in skills - just can't kick

If Spriggs is so bad, why did Cresswell recommend him??

Is he a bad judged as player?? Was he being a real pratt??

                        Did he see the potential??

He seems to be able to find the ball in packs OK and his disposal by hand is alright. From all reports he could actually kick before he did his knee (I can't actually remember) so perhaps Cressa thought with a bit of a change of scenery he might get back to form.

I must admit I was surprised when Geelong traded Spriggs ahead of Byrnes.I now know why.
