    Ablett again

    I'm getting excited about Noggy.

How many times in the past few weeks has he run through trafiic at paced and picked the ball up cleanly (usually with one hand)?

We've been CRYING out for someone with that skill and confidence.

    Woo hoo!

As someone who has bagged him in the past, I'll acknowledge excellent improvement. Still got a loooong way to go to be a Tier 1 player if you ask me but he is one of the few in our squad who's performance levels are heading in the right direction.

And he is not scared to have a ping from outside 50, Just a pity he hasn't been able to nail one.

Starting to remind me of Cressa. Skills getting better with age, very determined and a good footy brain. Lets hope he stays on the same steep improvement curve for a while yet.

He has looked very good as of late. When used in close around the spillages he seems to have some bloody clean hands on him. His decision making has increased in quality and time used as he has played more and more games. He deadset has to be the phattest kick in the team, its HUGE!! On the run he isnt great, but from one or two steps he seems to hit everyone alright. Has improved a lot and seems to be heading the right way in terms of development. As has Dempster.
Dempster seems to have gone unnoticed in recent weeks, but has got a really good grasp on reading the game, has a huge kick, knows where his team mates are and is never afraid to ake them on. He has some guts for a guy in his first season.

A big kick like that would be gold if he got the ball at half-back. He would be well-placed if he was roving the packs at the top of the D50 arc after a kick-in. I can imagine his kicking the ball from inside D50 to inside F50. Even if it's offline, a crumbing forward should be able to pick it up and have a ping.

He is like a 3rd / 4th year apprentice - knows what to do and needs a push every now and then to do what he should do automatically.

He is growing in confidence and will / should be very good long term once he believes it! Self belief!

, a what?????? do we possess one.

But I like your thinking, Dempster kicks out long to either Ball, Jolly, Goodes, quick hand ball to Ablett, then Bang into the F50, right over the head of Hall, MOL, who outstretch their opponent and Mark in front of goal..

Its amazing what can happen if you let some players who offer nothing keep playing and develop. But we should't let this happen again, cut all young players who have no immediate impact.
