    Dean Laidley

Paul Roos is a good coach. His record since taking the helm in Sydney has been first rate with two finals appearances from as many finished seasons. Yet his team?s style of play has come under fire.

Ever since comments made by AFL CEO Andrew Demetriou on Melbourne radio, the Swans and Roos? coaching style have come under question.

I think Dean Laidley is schizophrenic... so is my opinion of him. He certainly has a dual personality.

I actually like Dean. I know at times (after losses) he doesn't interview well but he's popular with his players as a result of tough love.

When they have a big win, he's the best coach at showing raw emotion!

As a coach, he actually can draw blood from a stone in that his list is fairly lean on respected superstars.

There is nothing in that article that has been observed, or written about by others elsewhere.

But has it been written by another AFL coach?
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

I think he is a drop kick but like his sticking up for Roos.
              Love those Swans

His mis-intepreted his "Conditions of Appointment". He got muddles up with the "Always support the Roos" clause...

Yeah Mick Malthouse wrote a similar article about Demeatrio.
