    back line blues

now it is far too early to 'Roos bash'....at least not too much, BUT ,FAIR DINKUM, my dead grannie could have seen that Craig Bolton was being destroyed by NO.20 and was crying out to be assisted/moved.I know Leo wasn't doing much and the rest of the backs were piddle poor BUT this was critical and at least worth TRYING another player......
I never ever thought that i would be so lookiong forward to the return of Seymour and thinking that at least he could be a reasonable full back in the Dunks style (IF FIT IF FIT!!!!!)but, YOU WATCH, Roosey will try him in the forwards again.
Oh, KENNELLY......almost hilarious his stuff up in the last quarter....how pathetic and embarrassing....he aint a defenders crack.

C Bolton had a bad one last night but most times he was caught on a counterattack after a turnover.

It isn't easy for backman when the ball has been cleared then our midfielders turn it over so easily. The ball comes back twice as quick and the opposition forwards have all the space in the world to lead into.

The only solution have a fulltime permanent extra man across the halfback line, this is a bandaid solution, preferably the skill level will improve, or at least younger better skilled players will be picked.

      LEWIS ROBERTS-THOMPSON

For crying out loud pick him. His height is badly needed. He'll learn more playing in the senior than he will playing in Canberra.
      Once was, now elsewhere
