Well the good news is Spriggs has been dropped and Jarrad McVeigh brought in to replace him. Malceski will have to wait another week.

    In: Jolly and McVeigh
    Out: Davis and Spriggs

    Emg: Malceski, Spriggs and Schneider.
    Once was, now elsewhere

Pity about Malceski, he must be very close and with maxfield gone for at least 6 weeks, he'd be wanting to get a game, before then to try and show his wares.

This is from the latest "edition" of Roosy Responds

"Roosy: Mal has come back from a knee reconstruction and it?s a bit like Saddo, we have been slow to bring him back. His last month of football has been really good. Whether he gets up for Port game is doubtful but with a bit of luck he might get a game over the next couple of weeks."

In other words he will be the 2005 version of the 2004 model of Sean Dempster

            I'm on the Chandwagon!!!

If you cannot compete for the premiership, it's better to be young and exciting than middle-aged and dowdy.

Malceski will have to wait another week, and another and another and another and another and another and another and another and another and another and another and another and another and another and another and another - season over.

It seems he has as much chance this year as he had last year.

Looking back on Scott McGloane, with the benifit of 20/20 hindsight vision, It is pretty obvious that Roos screwed up.

Roos is a man who talks in footballing cliche's, and has had some success coaching in the most mundane of footballing styles.

We have seen Roos reluctance to make hard decisioins, as well as his reluctance to take risks.
Finally he has decided to play a few kids, after it has been widley recognized that our midfield is very lowly.

Scotty McGloane, was the stand out reserves player for the swans for the better part of 2 years, and Roos never once even looked like naming him in a senior game.

Roos is an idiot. He will never lead the Swans to a premiership.

Im going to go out on a imb here... you have never watched the reserves play have you?? Scooter was a player much much like Spriggs in that he would find the ball but not use it very well at all. He was getting heaps of it in the ACT Footy League, its standards there are very low in comparison to top flight footy.
Roosy has talked a lot about havin the right footy body... meaning soled enough not to get easily knocked off the footy. It seems as though he is very reluctant to give those with developing body types aprolonged run on the ball. Scooter was seemingly too small in size for senior footy. Unfortunate, as he he seemed to have a great ability in finding the footy, just not in using it.
                        - Impossible is just a big word thrown around by small men who find it easier to live in a world they've been given, than to explore the power they have to change it. Impossible is not a fact, it's an opinion. Impossible is not a declaration, it's a dare. Impossible is potential. Impossible is temporary. Impossible is nothing!

So effectivley, Roos rucruited the same player from another club for more money, but never gave Scooter a go.
                          Great coaching.
Now we all watch as Spriggs lives down to expectations. Again great coaching, great recruiting.
Ps. By the way your wrong on that other thing.
