Swans have got the softest draw ever this year.

so FootyHead, youve decided not to explain your reasoning behind why we have a "soft draw", ive mentioned a few things, id actually like to hear your justification for what you said rather than you argue about who has the bigger "E-penis" as indicated by your amount of posts....

so, why is it a soft draw?

Well have a look mate,

I am not the first one to say this.

The amount of games they have at home, and the opposition's current form would suggest that even though they are playing crap, they should still be able to make the eight, which I think is unfortunate, because it allows them to do something they always do: Deny the structural and psychological sort commings within the team.

so they have the doggies @ the SCG (lucky! I think the dogs would really give them a run on any other ground. As it is the Swans may well win in the greatest flood fest the world has seen since the days of Noah!!!)

They play geelong, brisbane, fremantle and the Kangaroos, all at home.

They play in Adelaide only once this year, agints a team who is clearly struggling.

Their 6 games to be played in Melbourne are againts 3 0r 4 teams who are obviously struggling.

Most importantly they do not have the grueling trip west again this year.

Pretty soft. They should make the most of it.

I don't see how the draw is soft, the comps pretty even still, there are still plenty of tough games to go.

They leave home just as often as the other teams outside Sydney (brisbane, West Coast, Freo etc all play 12 games at their home ground), although I would prefer to just make the 4 or 5 trips away from home like the Melbourne teams do. At least then I could watch more games. If the bulldogs want to give up a home game and come to Sydney, then thanks have the extra dollars from the afl but then don't complain that you're playing us at the scg.

The swans are not the only team to play at Subiaco just once this year, we were just lucky enough to get that disaster out of the way early on.

Yes at the scg we will "Deny the structural and pscyhological short comings within the team" to get us into the finals again. What a novel idea, using your home ground as an advantage, no one else does that- Fremantle wins just as often away from Subiaco and I'm sure St Kilda must shudder when they see they have another game to play at Telstra Dome.

The swans aren't playing particularly well at the moment but if they make the finals it will be because they won enough games, not because of a soft draw.

We have already beaten Brisbane (away), we have played Kangaroos (away) and lost. So thats 50/50, there.

Adelaide curently 8th on the ladder, and they beat us at home.

St Kilda (7th), Carlton (14th), Richmond (3rd), MelBourne (4th), Essendon (12th), Hawks (15th). So thats 3 teams doing badly, 3 teams doing fine. thats 50/50, seems pretty normal to me, always going to be good teams and bad teams

unsure why a trip west is most important, being a sydney side if we are not playing at home then its always a trip for us. and We played West coast at home, the strongest side in the comp. We cant play them twice at home, sure were not playing to dockers at home, dont see that as an important factor in determing an "easy draw"

Seems like a pretty fair and even draw to me.

This is a soft draw. Probably the softest I've ever seen given to the swans (conspiracy theorests will point to it being the TV negotiations year).

Unfortunetly we havent made the most of it yet.

Your last points have made it clear what a novice you are.

Everybody knows that trips to Western Australia are the most taxing for eastern states teams.

This draw has been generaly acknowlaged as an easy one for the Swans.

i never said that a trip to the west isnt taxing. We have played 1 game in the west, the most we would play is 2. Given that the rest of your points dont justify your claim, i therefore fail to see how 1 less game in the west can have you determine that the draw is very easy for the swans.

FH, I think you should go out and have a life. This post is definitely not one of your better works, or should I say one of the worst attempt to be controversial. I wouldn't go into details discussing whether or not you're a Saints supporter (I wouldn't like to embarass them), but making claims like that is utterly stupid.
I do acknoledge that the fearest system would be to play each other twice, but with this even competition it doesn'r matter anyway.

Richmond have the softest draw. They have'nt had to leave Melbourne yet. Their trip to the Gabba this weekend will be the first time they've played away from the MCG or Docklands. Their draw is even softer than Collingwood's, and their draw is always soft.

Swans have already been to Perth, Brisbane and Canberra and have played several teams who are doing far better than expected. I don't think they've had an especially tough draw but the opposition they have played, and when they have played them more importantly, have generally been pretty strong.
