    This in the Tele?

"After a slow burn start that had Sydney ahead 3.8(26) to 2.6(18) at halftime, the third quarter was marred by a number of contentious umpiring decisions, including a high tackle on Hall by Chad Cornes right in front of umpire Darren Goldspink that wasn't called.

Goldspink also failed to award Swans crumber Amon Buchanan a free after he was coat-hangered inside Port's defensive 50.

Port's Brendan Lade may be in trouble with the match review committee after television replays clearly show him elbowing Swans defender Andrew Schauble below the belt. "

The Lade hit was staggering - don't think it was worthy of a report (tho who knows anymore) but surely the kick should have been reversed?

Well considering that Jolly got 2 for his incident, you would think that an elbow to the jatz crackers would be worth a holiday surely??

But then again this is the AFL tribunal

Well a punch to the same region didn't earn one last week.
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline

I'd say he's gawn. If Jolly can get two weeks for lifting a knee, he has to get suspended for lifting an elbow. Let's see: Intentional, high impact, low contact, in play. Looking those up on the tables, that's 8 activation points and a level 4 offence. Reducing the impact to Medium reduces to 7 activation points and a level 3 offence. The level 4 offence translates to 425 points, and the level 3 offence translates to 325 points. Even if he gets discounts, he's likely to be out for at least two weeks even if he pleads guilty.

            The tables are here:

I think Hunter got off because he pleaded guilty (10% reduction) and for some unknown reason the charge was downgraded to reckless. This meant his total points were just below 1 game.

It wasn't missed in Melbourne surprisingly, usually get bugger all on the Swans! And even less about us perhaps getting a rough trot from the umps.

Herald Sun said: After a slow-burn start that had Sydney ahead 3.8 (26) to 2.6 (18) at halftime, the third quarter was marred by a number of contentious umpiring decisions, including Chad Cornes' high tackle on Hall right in front of umpire Darren Goldspink that wasn't called.

Goldspink also failed to award Swans crumber Amon Buchanan a free after he was taken around the neck inside the forward 50.

Port's Brendon Lade could find himself in trouble with the match review panel after he elbowed Swans defender Andrew Schauble below the waist.

Despite its frustration, Sydney maintained its composure and kicked three goals, including back-to-back majors, from Hall in the third term.

The Age: While the game was a tight as a scout's reef knot all afternoon, from the moment Michael O'Loughlin kicked the opening goal, Sydney was never headed.

Inaccurate kicking meant that they never broke the game open, but perhaps they were just keeping the contest close and interesting for loyal followers.

I bloody well hope not! It's stressfull enough thanks!!!

At York Park last week I saw the blow to the family jewels that Hunter gave to Mark Williams and Williams was in trouble for quite a while after that. He could't jog to the 3/4 time huddle, so it was pretty serious. I don't think Schauble was as inconvenienced as Williams was,so it will be interesting to see the consistency from the tribunal.

Watching the game live, I could tell how crap the umpiring was at the game but when I came home and watched the reply on Fox, I realised they were even WORSE!!

I was screaming even louder at the replay!!
