Pre Match Meet Up vs St Kilda

Well after 9 weeks, its time for the Swans first trip to Melbourne for a Home and Away Match and that can only mean one thing for us RWO Swans fans lucky enough to be in Melbourne on Saturday Night - the tradition Pre Match Meet Up, at the Colonial Hotel.

    So here are the details

    Where: Colonial Hotel
Corner of King St and Lonsdale St
When: This Saturday from around 3.30pm.

For those who haven't been to the Colonial before, it is family friendly so bring the little ones if you need to and there are quality dining options available (though a little bit pricey) for those looking for a pre match feed. Also a few TV's dotted around the joint showing the afternoon games and where we normally sit we get a good view of the Large Screen.

The RWO group is usually gathered around the tables under the small TV near the Lonsdale St entry (if you have problems just look for the CS flags) and as the meet up goes on usually grows in size and nabs a fair few tables.

If you have any questions either reply below or PM me

Hope to see you all there

Not sure if I'll make it to the Colonial, Have to wait for the Geelong game to finish before we leave here, but definitely up for an after match either Lygon street or Clarendon Street.

As there is no after match I think Lygon Street would be the go.

I'm up for it mate. I fly in at 12:30 odd, so will rock up at the pub at about 4ish. I have both your flags and banners Robbie, as well as the Sydney-based ones. Maybe Greg can take them backfrom the Blues match so we can use everything in both cities more often?

The squad has looked good the past two weeks with my gear seen offen. Will have to try and get them back up to you for the Freo match if not, I'll bring them up for the Collingwood match.

My flight lands at 3:45 and I'll head straight to the pub

I thought the pub meals were quite reasonably priced

Dearer than the Brewery at Homebush from memory. But heaps better in quality and size.

And heaps better than feral overpriced stadium food. But that isn't hard, is it?

Whereabouts in Lygon St? (Even a nearby street corner would help).

                      Yes, that.
Vicky Pollard: Oh my god I so can't believe you just said that this is like the time I threw Anita's nokia in the canal as a joke and she's like you have well got to buy me another one and I'm like get over it and then Paul came over who's adopted anyway and started saying that I fancy Mark Bennett but oh my god just because I have sex with someone doesn't mean I fancy them.

Do you need numbers? My husband and I will go if we win - I would be too miserable if we lose. Although I would like to meet some redandwhiters.

Thanks for that guys - see you at the Colonial then Papa Gino's. I'm just about to start driving down and should be in Melbourne around the end of the Tigers/Dees game.

Nope, no numbers are not required. Just turn up on the night and say hello. Normally we meet in the Cheer Squad area after the match and work out details such where we'll eat and how we'll get everybody there. We normally get anywhere between 20 and 40 people eating as a group (larger numbers if there is an aftermatch) and have some fun with the passing fans of other clubs.

So your more than welcome to join us.

If you want to get in contact with me though PM and I'll give you my moblie number.
