i hope the first 4 mentioned there dont play. especially hamill and maguire. hamill is so important to their forward line with his "presence" and maguire is a good young key defender

we should ball, williams and schauble back? possibly schneider, but some tough decisions at the selection table this week.

What about Riewoldt? There was some media speculation that he may not be fit enough to play this weekend?

        Seems pretty straight forward:

        Williams for Bevan
        Schauble for Dempster

Not sure about Ball. He may need another run in the 2's if he's not match fit.

Saints' season on the line & perhaps Thomas' career if they lose 4 in a row. I'll be amazed if Hamill doesn't play and they might take a risk with one or 2 others.

For what its worth I would make the following changes

            In: Williams, Schauble, Malceski, Schneider
            Out: Bevan, LRT, Moore, Buchanan

I think Moore needs a full game or two back in the ressies as he isnt getting much game time. LRT is playing better but I think we need to focus on Reiwoldt and Gehrig..stop them and we win

In reality I think Malceski will be forced to wait again. And I dont think they will make as many changes as I am suggesting...probably 1-2. After all we have won 3 in a row

And if they arent going to play Buchanan on the ball i would bring Schneider in in his place, but play him as forward pocket/half forward. With ROK being a bit quiet I think we need another goal kicking option

            B: Crouch Schauble Barry
            HB Kenelley C Bolton Nicks
            C Dempster Ablett Mathews
            HF O'Keefe Goodes Williams
            F O'Loughlin Hall Schneider
            Foll Jolly J Bolton Kirk
            Int Vogels McVeigh Malceski Saddington

I agree with you completely, I have a great deal of respect for Monty when it comes to getting the pill, but he's a truly horrible shot for goal and he seems to be spending a lot of time on the forward line.

Yep. What's the point of a forward who can rarely find the space between the big sticks.

                  Williams for Bevan
                  Schneider for Buchanan
Schauble for Nicks or Moore (toss up, another defensive option for Guerra/Milne, or a tough body for their great midfield?)

I shudder whenever I hear stuff along the lines of "wounded saints season on the line" - reminds me of that drawn game back in 2002. Saints were coming off a 100-point hiding with half the senior team out and we still couldn't win.

But this week should be a good test of the team's maturity to see how they handle the desperate Saints. I reckon they can do it.

                    IN: Schauble, Schneider, Williams
OUT: LRT, Buchanan, Bevan (or Moore)

(Ball not to be rushed back until he's absolutely ready)

All I ask is for some passion! I want the Swans to play to win, play like they want to be out there, fight for the ball, contest everything! I know I keep speaking of the same thing, but footy minus the passion is simply not worth watching. And seeing as though we're all heading down there, we want to see them 'bring it'.
And you can't find nothing at all,
If there was nothing there all along.
