    Nicks

    Great to see Nicksy back.

Thought he had a very solid game and definately adds a touch of class to our team. He kept his opponent quiet and it was great to see his long kick ins to target.

Couldn't agree more. Terrific game. Stevie on song is such a good player (and such a reliable disposer of the ball, something we have to place a premium on in this team!) that it would have been sad to think he'd played his last game for the Swans, particularly after he was BOG (for mine) in his annihilation of Matera against the WCE in the first final last year.

Let's hope he can continue to bring those sure hands, firm footing and (most importantly) accountable attitude out in every game for the rest of the year.

Not a problem, the Saints will be selling one cheap if we beat them next weekend.

I still don't think he should be in, in front of some of our up comming youngsters but he was solid this week so should get another run next week. Actually he should definately play against the Aints as he has a good record against them.

Who was in for Nicks last week?
Vicky Pollard: Oh my god I so can't believe you just said that this is like the time I threw Anita's nokia in the canal as a joke and she's like you have well got to buy me another one and I'm like get over it and then Paul came over who's adopted anyway and started saying that I fancy Mark Bennett but oh my god just because I have sex with someone doesn't mean I fancy them.

Do you reckon he will play up forward against the Saints again? He did when we knocked em off last year and carved it up. Or will he stay down back where he has been for most of the season?

he might get milne, i guess crouch is the other option although he hasnt played the "back pocket" role for a while

i keep thinking of how good nicksy was against the weagles in the final last year against the smurf matera, but milne's been in pretty good touch this season so it'll be a big call IMO

On NO ACCOUNT is Matthew Nicks allowed past the centre.

He's OK in defence and is probably well-suited on a Milne type.

                    Are you being sarcastic??

He kicked 4 in the corresponding game last year!

Good to see Nicksy in. Think he's still in our best 22.

I feel Nicks had a solid year last year and by no means deserves the chop this year. He has played like most in the side this year, up and down. Brings alot of experience and not past his prime, did more than just THAT game against WCE in 2004.

Position I'd like to see him fill is like Martin Pike circa 2002-4 - maybe not in our best 18 but very handy experienced utility sitting just outside. Whether that's how he sees himself or whether he can actually fill that role I guess are other stories.
