Its a big change from country football for sure, the way the senior list looked at the beginning of the year as far as injuries go i was doubtful he would be elevated from the rookie list this year but unfortunately for steven doyle and fortunately for luke luck turned his way, the one thing about him is he will always give 100% and in the past he has been consistant with form.

To go from country football to AFL senior selection in the space of a dozen games is a wonderful achievement. The challenges are many, but I hope he's up to the task.

It's good to see the bright lights of this tough city has not detracted from his game.

I thought his final quarter was stellar, though that first goal of his [the one that put us up by seven] looked to me as though he was not entirely comfortable to kick it. Seeing as there was no one else, he had a crack and it paid off. I think that it's just confidence thing, and will improve the more he has a chance to play...
