Swans 'traditionally' lose 3 in a row in April/May

If my memory serves me correctly, Sydney seems to make a habit of putting together a string of three losses towards the start of the season. Dunno about 97-2001 but I know that in 2003 we lost in rounds 2,3 and 4 against ordinary competition, in 2002 we lost in rounds 7,8 and 9 and in 2004 we went one worse and lost four in a row in rounds 5,6,7 and 8. I even recall them losing 2 or 3 in a row at the start of 96. Makes you wonder whether there's some sort of psychology aflicting the team at this time of year. Maybe they dont like playing in warmer weather (rhetorical question) ? Anyway, it gives me a bit of hope for the rest of the season.

Wow, that's extraordinary. Sydney really has developed a traditional autumnal losing streak going back to 98.
