I would choose oloughlin for captain cause hes been with the swans for so long and he played in the 96 grand final and played with so many great swans players. So he has so much experience with the swans and he only played with 1 club. Hes been through a lot of highs and lows and he played under Eade scince he started and now Roos. He played with kicket, roos, kelly, lockett, bayes and others. what do u think....
olouglin for captain?

a few years back when he was given the vice-captaincy his form went to crap. He's not now voted into the leadership group. I think it is fair to say that he is not in a position to captain the club.Visit my eBay store -

His injuries preclude him now - he isn't guaranteed to start any season in RD 1 and is best off worrying about nursing himself on the field than being captain.
Speaking of nursing injuries, has anyone else noticed that he doesn't come out on the ground for the pre-game warm-up after the reserves are done?

If you cannot compete for the premiership, it's better to be young and exciting than middle-aged and dowdy.

O'Loughlin for captain - no.Vicky Pollard: Oh my god I so can't believe you just said that this is like the time I threw Anita's nokia in the canal as a joke and she's like you have well got to buy me another one and I'm like get over it and then Paul came over who's adopted anyway and started saying that I fancy Mark Bennett but oh my god just because I have sex with someone doesn't mean I fancy them.Comment

Definitely NOT captain material- Impossible is just a big word thrown around by small men who find it easier to live in a world they've been given, than to explore the power they have to change it. Impossible is not a fact, it's an opinion. Impossible is not a declaration, it's a dare. Impossible is potential. Impossible is temporary. Impossible is nothing!Comment

I love Mick, but I don't believe that he is the right choice for next captain. The concerns raised earlier on this thread about inujry are spot on, we need someone fit on the park all the time. If Mick is in the leadership group and happy to stay there, then leave him be.
IMHO, for the team: Kirk or Bolton.
For the profile of the side: Baz!Comment
