In the past Hayes has expressed some interest in returning to Sydney, possibly near the end of his career. However, he said that might not be until his playing days were over. "When it [football] comes to an end, I'd think about moving back but right now I'm enjoying my time in Melbourne."
Players who see Sydney as a form of pre-retirement pension scheme need not apply for the job.
He had observed that people who did lie were, on the whole, more resourceful and ambitious and successful than people who did not lie.
I hope he goes down the same path as Buckley not wanting to stay at Brisbane so he could be part of a premiership side at Collingwood.
If he's prepared to take a pay cut to stay with them - already, then he's a bigger git than I thought. It's not as though they've even got into a premiership, let alone had a run like the Lions did.
I hope we smash the Saints this weekend.

If the Swans really want Hayes, they should start waving around as big a cheque as they are prepared to pay. He may change his mind. Surely good money plus Melbourne's winter weather could persuade a Sydney boy to come home.

I don't eat animals since discovering this ability. I used to. But one day the lamb I was eating came through to me and ever since then I haven't been able to eat meat.

Melbourne's winter weather ; we are having an Indian summer. Never rains here either. But to be honest, if Hayes wasn't from Sydney would he be one of the first targeted? He's not a bad player but he has weaknesses. BTW, I think that when Harvey and a few other oldies retire they will be struggling a bit again. I don't think they will get the dynasty their supporters imagine might happen.
