    Andrew Schauble

Will be running out to play for the Swans Reserves (1st place, 7-0, 287.30%) against the Wagga Tigers (7th place, 1-6, 46.65%).

He may match up on Steve White, who has kicked 17 goals so far this year and is sponsored by "Des Gibbs Signs", or perhaps on Brendan McKelvie who has kicked 19 goals and is sponsored by "Bidgee Welding".

Good selection decision, I am sure it will be a close game and is far more important than an AFL fixture.
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

So do I! Because it's Schauble you can't see him having actually done anything to warrant disciplinary action though... maybe he and Mrs Roos... ahem... errr... questioned the gameplan?

          Exactly!
This is goody-two-shoes, soup-kitchen Schauble we're talking about.

Maybe that injury he was carrying through the pre-season and the first 6 rounds has flaired up? It sounds better than the conspiracy theories being yanked out of people's clackers at the moment

We needed Schauble there tonight. Gehrig reminds me of Richardson - they can both break a game open and they can both be put off their game. The way to do it is as we have done before with Richo - team tag with Schauble and (perhaps) Leo. To leave Leo, gallant defender that he is, one-out on these monsters is asking for trouble, and we can't be surprised if that's what happens.
He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)

If he has, he's photocopied them and given them to 15 other players out there tonight.

I starting to put this down to "one of those years": we lose our captain, our game plan has been worked out, AFL is putting pressure on us, the ACTAFL is not providing enough competition (although it did in other years).
