    Left at 3/4 time

Sorry to admit this but I am sick of it.

    Where do I start...

    Ball was not fit...

Schneider is not learning much playing in the ACTAFL....

ROK is as lazy as hell...and not doing enough...

McVeigh won't make it - don't care what anyone thinks - he is too light.

WHY THE BLOODY HELL DOESN'T ROOS REALISE THAT KENNELY IS A FORWARD/WINGMAN - NOT A BLOODY BACKMAN! I am sick of saying this.

Umpiring didn't cost the game but was pathetic.

Bloody Mid Strength beer as well!

None of our players are learning anything in the ACTAFL. The fact is that competition is doing nothing to prepare our young players for AFL - I reckon the TAC Cup would be a higher standard. The only thing that they couldn't get in the TAC Cup compared to the ACTAFL is the opportunity to play against adults instead of scrawny 17 year olds.

The Sydney Football Club need to work something out with the AFL, including getting some sort of financial assistance if necessary, to ensure our reserves team is playing in a competition that will actually provide our players with something that will actually lead to their abilities improving.

    I'm on the Chandwagon!!!

If you cannot compete for the premiership, it's better to be young and exciting than middle-aged and dowdy.

Umpiring was bad. St Kilda had 3 free kicks inside 50 in the first half, which just about accounts for their lead. Thus denying the swans any momentum.

Of couse it would have meant nothing once the saints turned it on in the last quarter.

But the AFL has got to address home-town umpiring. It happens in every game of interstate footy.

Simply not paying free inside 50 unless absolutely there would be a start.

Er, last I checked we didn't have a single NSW umpire. Unless you mean that the Vic umpires at SCG games are swayed by us, and that we actually WANT Goldsphincter to give a few strange ones to the opposition to make it look unbiased.

Thats a problem. But I really meant "influenced by home crowd".

Why the hell didn't Nicks kick out from full back tonight?

He was pretty good last week - at least one goal from a bad kick in from C. Bolton.

This is the major problem. McVeigh and Schneider etc are world beaters at that level - out of there depth with no confidence at senior level.

The problem is that Schneider at least, can play, but he has no confidence once he comes up to the real stuff.

This was the worst decision the club has made in the last 5-10 years - if will haunt us.

I worry for Moore and Dempster. And Malceski.

I also left at 3/4 time. I was livid frsutrated annoyed just down right pissed off.

No SCG No Swans. And even then we tend to play poorly at the scg. McVeigh should be dropped and not played again this year. Irish man is struggling down back and as stated play him on the wing.

Bloody pathetic effort all round except for jude bolton who kept trying.

Time for a MASSIVE cleano out at the end of the year, coaching staff included.

I could bet my house we aint going back to the VFL. Even Vic clubs are complaining about it because they dont have enough control.

I can see the ACTAFL being rationalised a bit. Perhaps 2 Sydney teams with swans divided evenly. Remember the Swans have never won the ACTAFL comp.

While it would be nice to win the ACTAFL comp, my number one priority is that our younger players develop and don't have a huge step to make up to AFL standard when they are picked in the seniors. If we lose every game in the reserves but our players are getting the development necessary so they aren't totally out of their depth in the seniors, then I won't complain one bit.

Who gives a rats whether you win the comp - it is all about the players developing their skills/intensity/hardness.

We are not getting that by winning by 20 goals each week.

The problem is that we drop someone and they kick 6-8 goals the next week. They wouldn't be doing that in the VFL!

My point being that if we are not winning the comp, then there are better sides out there, and therefore to play in a losing side is to have met your match on a player level.
