    Last 20 goal game.

As I was answering another thread, when I thought when was the last time Sydney kicked 20 plus goals in a game? Checking my annual footy stat book I was shocked.

The last time Sydney kicked 20 plus goals in a game was Round 11 2003. 21 goals against Bombers and again that year in Rd 1, 22 goals against Carlton.

    In 2002 - once in Rd 13.

    In 2001 - Twice Rds 18 and 21.

    In 2000 - Twice Rds 17 and 20

    In 1999 - Four times, Rds 7, 8, 10, 20 (25 goals and Pluggers last game).

I didn't go into 96 - 98 but we had Plugger then and a different midfield.

They kicked 18 goals twice last year and 17 once.

    Not good enough.
In memory of my little Staffy - Dicey, 17.06.2005 to 1.12.2011- I'll miss you mate.

Ageed. My patience with the current gameplan has expired.

I don't pay $170 per year to be subjected to this crud.

Its hard to think we kicked such a high score in Round 1. Talk about leading the fans on eh.

How can you expect the Swans to kick 20 goals when most of them can't even count to 20!

                From an earlier thread:

We've kicked more than 15 goals only 7 times in 39 outings.

We don't take enough shots per goal. In 2004, the top 4 teams averaged 618 scoring shots for the season and we managed just 503 shots (81%). This is equal with 1993 and the lowest since 1972.
Captain Logic is not steering this tugboat.

I admit I don't spend a lot of time on these messageboards.
But one over-riding impression I get when I do come here is that most of you numb-skulls think our boys are a bunch of idiots.

With supporters like you it's no wonder thay play like they don't give a toss.

What's the point of having 30,000 members when most of you are a bunch of whinging ****-bags.

If you have a gripe, base it on fact. Not this bull-**** innuendo.

Yet we have a Brownlow Medallist, two All-Australians and two of the best set-shot kicks in the competition, all of whom spend a considerable amount of time in the forward line.

It defies belief. Why wouldn't they just try and get it down to them as often and as quickly as possible?

I'm initially referring to 'anne's remark.
But I stand by my comments in a general sense.

I assume Anne's comments were simply venting rather than any "innuendo".

You've done your fair share of complaining so why is that different?

Why would supporters who are complaining after the game is lost result in players playing "like they don't give a toss"...?

Everyone's entitled to their opinion. Sure, the posts following a very bad loss -like last night's- are often very pessimistic, but that's what happens when people are passionate about a team.

I generally think we have a right to whinge - not to excess - but we are after all, paying money to watch these guys play.

And disposals by both hand and foot which are little more than basics kick-to-kicks keep going on the haf volley, to players feet, or are made under pressure hence creating contested possessions we never should be making.
