I DID answer. The fact that I met him just gives me the reason I make my assumption. And the remainder comes from the Q&A that he had with Schwatta and his response to Demetriou earlier this year.

Mike says "My impression is..." I respond with "I disagree based on my own experience and observations"

Does that make it clearer?

Does now - however the way it was written suggested that your 'experience and observations' were based on meeting and talking with him, not reading a newspaper article, which you hadn't mentioned, hence my follow-up question.

Yes - I was saying that I was simply asking questions (hence explaining the query in my first post) and at that stage I was still uncertain what meeting him had to do with it.

I took "maybe you should read more" as being I should make sure I should read more (because I don't read enough?) and thus I should have already read Roo's comments and therefore understood what you had first written. If you were simply providing the information most people would have written something like "maybe you should read this".
