Very impressed with Malecski so far. Granted he gave 2 Free Kicks away but a good goal in his debut.
i dont see a goal on debut as important, its nice for the player, but more improtantly Nick M. is reading the play well, making good disposals, has managed a few good spoils... just looks to be really fitting in to the team and the AFL level with ease.

Garry Lyon is a dead@@@@. The channel 10 commentary made the point that although it has been Roos copping crap from the media about his flooding, Carlton are actually being far worse with it today.

BTW, why aren't you at the game?

Had things to do today and my dad had something else organised so we couldn't make it.

They're watching a different game to the one I am then.

The Swans have been OK but are hardly dominating and I think the scoreline reflects the game. Carlton have chased well and tackled hard and also have been winning the clearances.

When the Swans have had the ball they have generally tried to move it quickly, have been kicking long when they can - except when the Blues have had 22 men behind the ball.

Exactly what problem does Lyon have with what the Swans are doing?

It sure is good to see the swans look to kick long as a first option regularly for a change.

Someone just said Davis was on the bench because he had twigged his Hammy again. If that is true, someone's head should be removed.
He had observed that people who did lie were, on the whole, more resourceful and ambitious and successful than people who did not lie.

                              What a pathetic third qtr!

Following on from an ordinary second qtr.

The excuses that we are not scoring is they are flooding, but they have scored 9 goals to 6 since qtr time.

Let's hope that that was our bad quarter for the week - if we play like that in the 4th Quarter I'll consider not going to the match next week - bloody disgraceful.

ETA: You know a coach gets desperate when they bench Schauble and move LRT onto Whitnall.
