anyone think he is nearly back to 2003 form? The knees certainly appear to be fine.

I think he's currently one of our consistently better players this season.Occupational hazards:

I think they must realise now that Goodes has to run with the ball. Its where he belongs.Originally posted by dendol
yep, if one can ever see injuries and suspensions as a blessing, then Ball, Doyle, Jolly, and the AFL Tribunal did the Swans a great service by forcing Roos to put Goodes back into the ruck.Occupational hazards:

..And his set shots seemed to have improved. His one in the 4th, an important one never looked like missing.Official Driver Of The "Who Gives A @@@@ As The Player Will Get Delisted Anyway" Bandwagon.

Very very true. Goodes has been having an IMPACT on matches the past month something he couldn't do at CHB or CHF.Originally posted by dendol

Very true and all credit to him for working on something that was a big weakness in his game. You used to be able to depend on him to miss any set shot, even the ones 30-40m out in the central arc, but I think he's nailed them all this year, even when the rest of the team had the collective yips.Originally posted by Jeffers1984

Yeah, was always destined to follow the ball. He was great in the center. The mobility and height is damn hard to match. If the ball goes in the air again, he can use his height to nail it like a ruckman. Otherwise, he has a great eye and offloads some smart handballs.
A great utility all over the ground.Using hypothesis testing via confidence intervals:

Played very well yesterday and had a big job to do playing on Kouta and kept him VERY quiet. Was definitely suited to that sort of role rather than say across HB though.
I'm on the Chandwagon!!!
If you cannot compete for the premiership, it's better to be young and exciting than middle-aged and dowdy.
