    177th Senior AFL Match - Round 4, 2009 - Sydney vs Carlton, SCG. This is obviously out of date. I suppose I'll update it once I could be bothered sitting down with the fixture and working it out....

      I have just finished reading Gemma's article and must say that it was a great read. Before reading that piece I was not going to bother with the Demons clash. It has been frustrating to watch the Swans play the way they have the last three weeks but now my attitude has been turned around.
      Imagine if they do make it to the last day in September in a few years. I will be able to look back and smile at how ordinary they used to play and say "Rowan who?" Nah just kidding, heres hoping he has a blinder on Friday night.

          Gemma your words have inspired all who read your article I am sure. Have you ever thought of sending this to the Swans for publication - I am sure the article would inspire many to sign up who haven't joined or who are still waiting to jump on board when we are up.

          So good to read something that makes us stop and think and I appreciate very much all the thought you have put into all your words.

          Keep your pen to paper. I am serious about your article going to the Swans to encourage membership - it certainly makes us stop and think. Very appropriate for to-morrow.
