    While Sydney's critics have accused coach Paul Roos of putting the shackles on the team's run from the backline, Kennelly says the problem has been that opposition teams have tried to tie him down in their goal square and stop him generating forward thrusts.

    It happened again during Sydney's 25-point win against Carlton at Telstra Dome on Saturday night, when Blues coach Denis Pagan sent talented youngster Andrew Walker out to tag Kennelly.
    That was evident on Saturday. Early in the first quarter he received a handpass from Adam Goodes deep in defence, turned and bounced off Carlton forward Brendan Fevola, then tucked the ball under his arm and bolted downfield, setting up a textbook passage of play that ended with a goal to captain Barry Hall. It set the tone for the Swans, who went on to kick 18.8 (116) ? their second-highest score for the season ? to Carlton's 14.7 (91).
