How many minutes did Jolly play in the end?
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

Captain Logic is not steering this tugboat.

Admittedly it was in the last quarter by which time Bryan was spent (or perhaps out of the ruck even) but Jolly did win a couple of tap outs direct to our players in our back pocket, one was straight to Craig Bolton leading to his 4 bounce run and kick to MOL, the other also led to a breakout from defence and flowing move forward resulting in a goal. These were crucial plays when the game was in the balance and showed the value of having the ruck rotation.

        I'm on the Chandwagon!!!

If you cannot compete for the premiership, it's better to be young and exciting than middle-aged and dowdy.

Let's not forget the two ripper goals that came directly from our "other" ruckman, Captain Hall

Seems nothing major injury wise to Ball (touch wood)

But he certainly didn't play 80 minutes in the ruck.

I'm surprised that Bryan won the centre-bounce contests . . . I guess I'll have to pay better attention, because my impression at the ground was that Jolly was clearly dominant when in the ruck, but that Ball really struggled, especially in the first half.

Maybe I'll get a better picture when I watch the video

How long will Ball be out? Why injured so early?
Vicky Pollard: Oh my god I so can't believe you just said that this is like the time I threw Anita's nokia in the canal as a joke and she's like you have well got to buy me another one and I'm like get over it and then Paul came over who's adopted anyway and started saying that I fancy Mark Bennett but oh my god just because I have sex with someone doesn't mean I fancy them.

Is there a stat for rucking effectiveness? Perhaps a ratio for taps to clearances. Or a percentage of taps in the amount of rucks competed in.

Hall is very effective in the ruck, he seems to win nearly every one in the forward 50.

There is a stat for tap to advantage. It's normally quite low, like 15-30%. It's not published widely though.
