I believe Leo Barry will take Pav. Although I expect him to be double teamed most of the game. What other targets do they have? LRT will chime in now and then.

Off course all Pavs goals will be marked against LRT even if LRT is on the pine. Such is the burden we place on him.

But will you accept Pav's goal being marked against LRT if LRT is on him? Or will it be the midfielder's fault for not applying pressure on the delivery, or another defender's fault for not coming across to help out?

If we are going to double him and play a loose man in defence I would rather start with LRT on Pavlich and Leo as the loose man.
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

            B2 for me.

He has the speed, strength and athletic ability to go with Pavlich, is capable of giving us something in the opposite direction if Pavlich plays off him while we're in possession but isn't so critical to our offensive structure that we'll lose a lot if he can't do much other than try to quell the Docker man. He is also capable of staying on Pav whether he plays as a forward or through the midfield. Leo would struggle on him as a midfielder.

I have to agree (once again) with you, Liz. I think he's the best option we have to counter Pavlich for all the reasons you mentioned. B2's incredibly versatile and if he manages to pop up from time to time offensively (as well as doing the hard yards defensively) for us, I think it'll really lift us. He did well last weekend, and I hope his form continues now that people are sitting up taking notice.

I reckon it should be Craig Bolton for shizm, but you just know that it will be given to Hyphen for the learning experience. Pav wont be amazingly influential on the game, as there is no massive requirement for a CHF at the SCG.
The main problem will be Sandilands... place one of our light towers on him? I reckon Jason Ball should get him and let Lewy Bob Tom rome free when 211 is down there to double team him and come in from the side.

The best use of Bolton is to expose an one-dimensional forward.
With his versatility, Bolton could negate the strengh of the forward with his all-round skills. However, matching him on Pavlich would be suicidal. Pavlich all round skills are better than Bolton and thus Pavlich should win most of one-on-one contests against him.

LRT would be the man for the job. LRT could offer Pavlich a challenge using his athleticsm and size. That should hopefully be enough to cause few second delay so that other defenders could join to help out.

                      In LRT, we trust .
