It is disapointing to see warfe in , but i really believe that he only got picked to play his 100th game and then he is gone into the sunset, enjoy your last game of afl footy rohan.

It's sad, with Warfe. I honestly think he could have been a very good player, but with the huge amount of injuries he's had, the last few years would have been spent mostly recovering from injury after injury. A lack of skills training must have contributed to his recent woes in that regard.

I still want to see him given those five to eight weeks. I doubt he'll be good enough, which is sad, but I want to see him get his promised chance, and hope like hell he plays well enough to keep his spot.. for his sake. Today would have been the perfect day to retire, probably, if in his mind he can see the writing on the wall... 100th game, ANZAC Day at the SCG... but with the relative security of another year on his contract, he's not going to throw that sort of money away...

STORY IN CANBERRA TIMES TODAY : my summary

Meiklejohn did not think that he would get a senior game this season
Roos admitted that Meiklejohn had not figured in his senior plans for this season
Roos thought when recruited that Meiklejohn was 'RAW " but his improvement was incredible over the last 4 months.

I noticed a big improvment from the Essendon pre season to the game last week against Ainslie . Let us hope that he continues his improvment tinight

I think pretty clearly we need to play what we have available and recruit some young players.

Are you saying Daniel McPherson is the answer?
You don't ban those who supported your opponent, you make them wallow in their loserdom by covering your victory! You sit them in the front row. You give them a hat! Toby Ziegler

            LOL, Reggi.

Not sure how you got from A to B there?

If Roos can turn the squad around in only 18 months, then he truly is a genius!

            But my fingers are crossed.
