Nope. I called Roos to let him know late Friday and he said he'd take care of it, Hall and Davis still played from half forward despite a commitment made to me by Roosy. This time I went straight to the talent and gave Robbo a call, he understands what is required.
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

Sorry about the live scores not being up today... the final results are in.

Well it is all over for this season, congratulations to Mike!

        Mike Marvels 36.16.232
        Dapto Doggies 29.30.204

The destroyers were Everitt in the ruck, Lucas in the backline and a great score from Brad Johnson running through the midfield.

Excellent effort from the mad marauders of Mike's Marvels, particularly when you consider the fine score of the Dapto Doggies.

Lucky my guys still weren't in it - I was scraping together a reserve side by the end and I think they would have barely managed 140 points this week!!

Thanks stella - good to see a high scoring final. And to think I only just snuck into the finals by winning my round 7 game by a point!

I've definitely enjoyed this comp a lot (and not just because I won ) - am looking forward to next year's comp already!

              I'm on the Chandwagon!!!

If you cannot compete for the premiership, it's better to be young and exciting than middle-aged and dowdy.

Next season, the rules for "No shows" @ drafting will be more severe!!

Well Done Mike, I think you had the most 200+ scores didn't you?

Bad luck Stella, but a stella performance all the same.

I enjoyed it as well, I'd love to be able to have a dynasty mode style thing setup so I can just roll into the next season with the same troops.

I like the idea of a 10 team comp (play each team twice) before a top 5 finals series to cover the 22 rounds.

And next time, before we even start, we pick a few set dates and times to run the draft, and that's that.

You should let the comissioner now!!

Yep, it sounds good, more even, and leaves a few reasonable players available for weekly drafting. Also a decent finals comp.

Well, you can simulate a dynasty league yourself by starting the 2006 league as "commissioner only draft" and then manually entering in however many players you want to keep per coach, then changing to "live draft" so the coaches can make new picks to fill out their roster.

However, I would not recommend a dynasty league format if the number of coaches is going to change from year to year, or if the coaches involved change a lot from year to year. That penalises new coaches too much.

I agree, coz I, for one, am going to raid Dapto Dogs players as much as possible!!!!
