And us. Better for us to play a team when they are a threat, than a team we take too easily. Plus we need to keep playing good teams from now on to prepare us for a finals campaign.

He seemed to be able to lead them to two successive grand finals appearances.
Captain Logic is not steering this tugboat.

Just consider all the preferential treatment the pies get from the AFL, add to that access to the best draft picks over most of the mid-to-late 90's, then allow for the fact that most finals and even the grand final is played at their home ground.
Anything less than a flag or two is serious underachievement for the woodsmen.
Then take into account the number of high quality players who have left under Buckley. Williams, Schauble, Michael and now Davis. No club should ever let that quality out the door unless there is something crook at the top.
And thats not even getting into the rumours that floated around over the years about Buckleys relationship with other players, which I'm not going in to on here.
Actually being there today,he looked quite slow and out of place(understandable)he seemed like he did nothing at all and everybody there(except collingwood supporters of course)was really hanging it on him every time he got caught or beaten. But then when i get home i get told that he had about 23 touches in the 3 quarters he played,he really didnt seem to have any impact though.
