Who's better in the rain, Sydney or Geelong?

Everyone thinks we are an ultimate suckage in bad weather conditions but I never thought we were that bad.

If there is a team that is worse in the wet in the AFL than Sydney, I would like to see them

We arent that bad in the wet... we knocked off the Eagles in terrential rain last year; and we saw how good the Cats are in the wet when they played the Lions a few weeks ago.
        - Impossible is just a big word thrown around by small men who find it easier to live in a world they've been given, than to explore the power they have to change it. Impossible is not a fact, it's an opinion. Impossible is not a declaration, it's a dare. Impossible is potential. Impossible is temporary. Impossible is nothing!

I know we knocked over Wet Toast in the rain, but more recently the results in the Wet, really don't fill me with confidence (I hope I am wrong)

The WCE game last year was what I had in mind.

                      LOL, you dag.

Am I the only person here that has confidence in playing in the wet?

The Eagles live on the edge of the Sahara desert. Most footy grounds in WA have this sandy surface. It has to rain that day to have wet weather football.

If we are motivated on song and running in numbers, we can still play decent footy in the wet. I recall the Swans game at the MCG as wel as the Lions game at the Gabba in 2003 as examples of where we actualy can play decent footy in the wet.

Still, I'd rather it be dry. It is only overcast today. If it stays like that, I'll be more than happy. I have way way too many flags and banners to lug around for me to enjoy it raining any more.

Doesn't the old saying go that the rain favours the lesser skilled side? That would be us, I'd say. Maybe the saying is that the rain favours the lesser skilled side unless the lesser skilled side is the swans, in which case they are rubbish!
