Another game in Melbourne from 2006?

With the Doggies all but wrapping up a deal to play two games in a row in Darwin from next year, it looks like the Swans are headed for another game in Victoria next year.

Despite us losing a defacto home game, I would be very happy to see us run out 6 or 7 times in Melbourne next year.

Unless we are the ones who have to play them in Darwin

Unlikely though, I daresay they will pick a lower-drawing club, like Freo or Port (by lower-drawing, I mean crowd pulling power in VIC)

177th Senior AFL Match - Round 4, 2009 - Sydney vs Carlton, SCG. This is obviously out of date. I suppose I'll update it once I could be bothered sitting down with the fixture and working it out....

6-7 times in Melbourne? That would be fantastic. I had a think about that though..

..Would it be advantage for us because the more TD/MCG games, the more we adapt to their ground measurements? Or a disadvantage because we are not used to it?

We are capable of beating (down here) StK, Carlton, Demons, Essendon, Richmond and Geelong*.

*Only if not played at Skilled Stadium.

We can do it, we just never do it.

We need more practice at the MCG!
And from a personal point of view a game in Geelong would be good.

If Jetstar keep up the cheap fares, it will be good.

I think it's only fair that Cher gets her game at Kardinia.

There should be a Sydney Swans private jet that goes from Tullamarine to Kingsford Smith, with airfares being half price upon presentation of a Swans membership.

BonBon i agree half price fares would see me in sydaney a lot more than threetimes a year.

For sure, Bon! I think it is a very good idea!
I am too poor to be paying full price!
