I think the Magpies have termed it the 'dud brother-brother rule'.

LOL! Serves them right for being willing to pay so much for a lazy ingrate.

When Jason Cloke was playing Under 18's the mail was he was overrated. Also his old man was very good at lobbying for him.

Given that he has played a bit of AFL footy he can't have been too devoid of talent. Problem is he can't get a game with the Pies at the moment which doesn't say much of their opinion of him.

What staggers me is he got a double page spread in the Herald Sun for being a less than ordinary player. Go figure that one. Did his old man pay for the publicity to give him a chance of a trade?

        Not interested thanks very much.

Davis is a Kennelly type and will probably play a similar role to him. Probably stronger overhead than Kennelly but maybe not quite as speedy. Very elegant mover though.

Captain Logic is not steering this tugboat.

LOL - but not entirely fair. He has improved over the years and takes the odd good contested mark.

Travis definatley looks like he's the best out of the lot but i would swap LRT for J.Cloke.

                  Why?

One is a slow plodder unable to play on an opponent who can't crack a spot in a bottom four side.

The other is a very raw, gangly, unco player who is making some kind of contribution (variable, admittedly) to a potential top 4 team and is a very gifted athlete.

Most importantly there is still a fair amount of potential upside to LRT, even if some despair at times.

If he can develop he has the athletic abilities to play on the likes of Riewoldt. Cloke has no chance. If we need a tallish, spare man in defence we'd be better off playing Grundy, Vogels or even James than Cloke.
