For someone so mercilessly bagged on here, Kirk is one of my 'pencilled in' players at the moment...the Captain is a very under valued player (there are several in the team, along with some over valued ones
), and this year he has definitely stepped up when it mattered ... his game against freo, for example, was excellent... and on saturday he did some great pack work, laying I don't know how many tackles...if I could vote for four or more in the TL medal, i'd have given him a vote for Friday...but with ball (another who is constantly criticised), cressa (yet again) and schneider all polling 4 me, there was no room...
