    Jason Ball

Having just watched the replay on Fox (was out tonight so didn't get to watch it on 10) I was hugely impressed by Jason Ball's game. IMHO it was far and away his best performance of the year. While we had the advantage of playing Jolly and Ball in tandem against White all night, Ball's ruckwork was fantastic and he did alot of good work around the ground as well.

He is a very important player for us and if he can continue this form into September, it will be a huge advantage for us.

    I'm on the Chandwagon!!!

If you cannot compete for the premiership, it's better to be young and exciting than middle-aged and dowdy.

Just say a prayer to whoever we all worship that he doesn't get injured.

I just caught the last qtr on Fox and he was great.

And the Cheer Squad sounded great.

He and Jolly is where we can win next week. It's about the only area where we may have an edge against the Eags, outside of the usual midfield defensive pressure.

The Eagles have arguably the best ruckman in the league in their team, lplus Gardiner returned to their side last night, so not sure that its an area where we have an edge.

Agree with comments on Ball - great game, not so much in the ruck contests, but his work around the ground was excellent.

The support for the Swans certainly came over the radio. The crowd was pretty small though - only 28k. If that's all the Dees can muster up for a home game of such importance then they deserve to lose.

Obviously most of the Dees supporters were at their Chalets' at Mt Buller

Don't blame them. 23/25 lifts operating at Buller today. Can't wait to go there myself in the school holidays. Hope the snow lasts. Hope I'm not a latent demon supporter!!!!!!!!!!!

Though having read other threads, sounds like he may not be a factor next week.

Having watched him whack a brisbane player in the guts last night, he might be out again next week!
He had observed that people who did lie were, on the whole, more resourceful and ambitious and successful than people who did not lie.

They don't ruck him in any case.

His marking around the ground is his best feature in my opinion. A lot of his ruck work is merely to make a contest out of it, but last night he had some very valuable taps.
Using hypothesis testing via confidence intervals:
Nick Davis mark inside 50 = goal

Absolutely! Cox will not play this week - he ran at the guy from behind!

He will get one week at a minimum and possibly two because it was pre-meditated.

I reckon Bally played his best game of the year tonight.

That was Gardiner. Cox's incident was when he elbowed Charman while contesting a boundary throwin

Ah Ok, well Gardiner is the one who is gone.

Cox's incident will depend on the camera angles available...........
