I like that attitude in a person, going overseas but still NOT missing a big Swans match!Originally posted by AussieAnge
I'm flying overseas on Sunday but that won't stop me missing the game. I'll go straight to the airport after the game. Hopefully I'll have a big grin on my face the whole of the flight.
It is good to see that despite living in 'footy-unfriendly'Sydney people on here appear to have the right attitude to life.
THE FOOTBALL COMES FIRST, NO MATTER WHAT!

PS:- Am knocked down by a killer strain of the flu this week. So am pumping myself full of tablets in order to be strong enough to go on not only Sunday but Saturday night as well."Never ever ever state that Sydney is gone. They are like cockroaches in the aftermath of a nuclear war"

Know EXACTLY what you mean - being still at uni, I often have to work on the weekends, and it's taken quite a lot of clever manouevering on my part when planning my roster so I can go the footy...Originally posted by JF_Bay22_SCG

Our Ange (and member of the unholy trinity) is a legend and she is to be congratulated on the superb effort of not missing a match.
Ange ,indeed we all are mindful of the footy fixture - we never plan anything unless it fits around the footy. Unless of course some family member decides to have a wedding or something totally inconvenient on a footy day - then some negotiation skills are required. My neg skills worked to get my niece to change her wedding day from Grand Final day - it was in her best interests - a really good present was at stake!!
Also to those who sit in the MA Noble - if you are going to keep seats for a few - guard them with your life - there was a near on nasty incident behind us at the last match - honestly those people who dont get there early and expect to get the best seats just as the game starts really @@@@ me! The problem was there a group of guys who got there when we did - put their stickers on the seats, and sat there for ages - so then decided to go and get food as we all do - then this total PRATT with kids and wife in tow decided that he would peel that stickers off and take these seats - despite several protests that they had been kept - he didnt give a toss - thankfully the guys came back and the tosser ended up moving but not without some heated argument. It could have got really ugly!
Anyway - hope it is a sell out and that the SYDNEY chant is loud and clear.I used to be indecisive, but now I'm not so sure..................

Thanks Wardy
The last time I went overseas for a wedding I got them to change the date so I didn't miss any games. I told them it was to do with TAFE but it wasn't really. I doubted they'd change it if I told them it was for the footy, some people just don't understand.
As for that total tool at the last game he was lucky that those blokes behind us were reasonable and it wasn't our seats they'd pinched it would definitely have been ugly then!
Mr Lobster I don't believe it was you as that chap has 3 kids and none of them looked like twins.
You can sit behind us anytime you like and throw stuff at us but we warned we will throw it back twice as hard.
AABring it on!Comment
