Mr H had red hair when younger - I was thinking of another current flagwaver though I'm not sure if the years add up - depends on what year the footage was taken.

You are indeed correct my friend.

I saw the shot when I was at the Aussie Rules social club and freaked. Ick, the duffle coat, the set of horror glasses , the headband, sitting on the wing, the empty seats in the background.

Sometimes the past can be a rather embarrassing thing.

Shouldnt you have your favourite players number on your duffle coat? I still have my old GCS duffle coat, with Graham Cornes faded signature on number 12 on the back.

OMG, JF you are now one of CH9's 15 most memorable moments in AFL history!!!

Watching the Port v Roo's game in Canberra on the TV and during the big break they showed a completion listing the 15 most memorable moments in AFL history.

The very last one, moment 'O' is the Swans move to Sydney in 82.
But part of the stock footage they show video of the picture above.

Congratulations, see you in the Hall of Fame

Hahaha! I just saw that too, Owen!
Nice work, JF. If you want to vote for yourself, then I think you are selection 'O'.

Not being from an AFL family, I never got to the point of having my favourite player's name and number put onto my duffle coat.

The Port Magpies Cheer Squad were wearing them yesterday. I know North Adelaide's Grog Squad also still wears them at SANFL games.

Paul & Tassie Simon went and watched the Bays play at Adelaide Oval yesterday Cruiser. Didn't help them much. The happy team of Bloodhounds trounced them in front of a screaming crowd of 1500 odd!
