    Stats don't matter: Roos

    Link
Sydney's 'points for' tally of 1455 is less than a goal clear of the competition's lowest-scoring team, the 15th-placed Hawks on 1450.
"You never assess yourself against any team except the one you actually play, so stats can be very misleading in that regard. Whether it's long kicks, short kicks, inside 50s, the only team that you're trying to beat is the one that you're playing against.

"I think against our direct opponents - the Crows - our stats are reasonably favourable, but we're certainly aware that they?ve got a really good defence and that's been one of their main strengths this season.

In football there is only one stat that matters: the team with the higher score at the end of the game is the one that wins.
