Would be such a shame to see Schauble go on a low note, he is easily the most selfless person involved in the game. I have more respect for him as a person than any other footballer. Good luck Andrew.

I'm with you mate. Schaubs is a spent force, who is only capable of playing on players with a genuine lack of pace.

Schauble's poor treatment by the match committee is one of this season's low points.

            Why ?

That match committe has picked a side that has won 9 of the last 11 games

Is that a low point ?

Just because you happen to like a particular player does not mean his exclusion from the side is wrong or poor treatmment. You have no idea what Roos or the other committee members have said to Schauble or vice versa

What does Roos see in Schauble that we don't? Are we missing some inside info as to why he's not playing?

Cox, Gehirg and Neitz you mean ?
                Not to mention Gardiner.

Either Schaubs is a spent force, or the coaching staff is awaiting full fitness before exposing him to the seniors in the hope he can see out the remainder of the season and finals. He has been injury prone.

My guess is that he has an ongoing injury as there have been match ups when he would have been useful. Fortunately, the backs have organised without him and Leo is playing smarter with less injury. This could be a good weekend to bring him back.

Informed belief is based on listening to Longmire, Lyon et al being interviewed pre-match on many occasions. Their response to the Schauble issue, when questioned has often been to talk the business line some have already displayed displeasure at. Reading between the lines he is only considered a viable option as a last resort. I do also know that critics in general and people from other clubs don't particularly rate him. I wonder if the Adelaide ground would be a suitable venue for him to return anyway ; it's vastness may find out anyone lacking in the area of leg speed.

PP must be one of the worst things ever to happen to the corporate world in terms of its collective communication skills.
