    Finals ticket prices

Ticket prices for the finals can be accessed here. Don't get confused with the TD/SA column - SA does not mean Stadium Australia, but South Australia. The prices for games in Sydney are furthest to the right.

    I'm on the Chandwagon!!!

If you cannot compete for the premiership, it's better to be young and exciting than middle-aged and dowdy.

Sorry if this is common knowledge, but when exactly do GF tickets go on sale? Which is the best way to do it? This will be the first time I have tried to get AFL GF tickets before... I am not counting my chickens, but was hoing to go anyway
And you can't find nothing at all,
If there was nothing there all along.

Based on previous years (but complicated by the "premiership Club" GF guarantee)....

First, the premiership garantees will be serviced. The exact mechanism for this has not yet been needed so has not been published.

Second, for any remaining tickets in the Swans allocation either before or after the PF (Sat night) you will queue up with your membership card and get a ticket queue number (you only need ONE of these for a group of up to 8 persons). Then, when tickets actually go on sale (Sunday or Monday morning) you use your queue number to determine your position in the ticket queue and proceed to buy your tickets (max of 8 per queuee but a membership card must be produced for each ticket).

Sadly there's never enough tickets to go round for club members, it depends what category of membership you have.
If the Swans make it, the guaranteed categories get first go at the tickets. I've got premiership club, so I'll be OK. After that, what's left goes to full club members, but depending on the membership of the club Sydney are playing it's likely that only about 20% of full club members will get tickets. If you've got a standard season ticket or aren't a member, forget it.

Depending on how much to pay, you could get one of those scandalously extortionate corporate breakfast packages. Also enter every competition you can - you might get lucky.
If all else fails, go to the carpark on the day, mug an MCC member and take the card out of his/her wallet before they come to.

          Not nice Norris!!

Mug one the opposing supporters and steal their tickets! They'll thank you later for saving them the pain of watching their team lose.

Although it never became reality, last year Redbacks were told that during the week before the PF we needed to contact the club to confirm we wanted to take up our guaranteed GF ticket (and pay for it, obviously subject to a refund had we got that far but lost the PF). I presume it was the same for other guaranteed members.

You'll need a good disguise kit. MCC members cards have photos now!!!
