    In this article:

    Two Changes for Crows Clash

it says that Fosdike, instead of Moore, is in. Either way, I'm happy that Vogels is getting a run. Will be interesting to see who is actually in.

I took what was posted on AFL.com.au

Bringing Fosdike in for McVeigh makes more sense than bringing Moore in, given the extra maturity and experience is more likely to strengthen the team. (I'm assuming Malceski isn't 100% fit - he isn't listed as an emergency.)

Edit - This quote suggests otherwise re Malceski, though it doesn't really make sense given that both played in the reserves the week before last, and our reserves don't play this weekend.

"Jarrad McVeigh and Nick Malceski have been sent back to the reserves side to get some much-needed game time, according to Roos."

Great to see Vogels back in, I suspect he may have a defensive role against one of the Crows bigger boys. Is Fosdike still injured, because I thought he had been great lately.

I would have thought that they would use Vogels as an additional tall in our forward line, as is also sugested in the article in the above link.

Our forward line has the potential to cause the Crows a huge proble, especially if our midfield is winning the ball out of centre. Bring it on! Two sleeps to go!

            Roos said "Pebbles"?!
But good to see Vogels and the Foz back.
He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)

So who is playing Moore or Fosdike?

The article says Fosdike and the team run down says Moore?

Roos comments about Fosdike are pre training so I would assume he didn't make it through the session.

If that was the case you would assume McVeigh would play over Moore, considering his pace and endurance on the larger ground.

Hooray for Vogels. I was wondering when the son would play again.

I'd say fosdike and malceski are both injured. perhaps fozzie hasn't recovered from neitz's off the ball charge. how does that guy not get reported??? he ALWAYS goes in late with knees (if the balls on the ground) and elbows/forearm (to spoil). is he golden or what?

bring in moore - his style is needed more than mcveighs for this game

Sounded like Fosdike was one of the players he was waiting on when he said he'd flagged changes but a few blokes were sore. Obviously he didn't come up. McVeigh might get a recall if someone else doesn't come up. You would think with his endurance he could get a run with role on that big ground. It wouldn't matter if he didn't get a heap of stats providing he could quell the influence of an Edwards or Goodwin. To be quite honest it surprises me when stamina is his greatest asset that he doesn't get more game time. He would probably work his way more into the match. He doesn't strike me as the sort of player who has impact coming off the bench.

                        From the Tele Friday:

"THE Swans are nearing full strength for tomorrow night's match with midfielder Nic Fosdike and mobile forward Luke Vogels reinstated to the side.

All-Australian defender Leo Barry and dual club champion Paul Williams have had a light week on the training track after last week's sapping win against West Coast but will remain in the line-up. Midfielder Jarrad McVeigh and utility Nick Malceski have been omitted. "

The Swans site have the same two players in.
The Swans have made two changes for Saturday night's match-of-the-round clash with Adelaide at AAMI Stadium with Nic Fosdike and Luke Vogels returning to the line-up.

I read where Roosy said Fosdike would play if he got through training last night.Perhaps he didn't and thus the mix up.

Maybe it is a ploy to confuse the Crows. I mean, we are!!!
