He is being coached by SOS and he was the master at it.
A good move by the swans coach's to bring him in to teach LRT.

Yep - you can see that influence. However, it's not meant to be allowed any more so I'm surprised the umpires don't penalise it.

Frustrating to lose a winnable game and they butchered opportunities in front of goal but they've gone up a notch in my estimation since last week.

I was scared of a huge let down, something we've seen so many times before. But there was a certain steel there tonight, a belief they could win, even if their legs didn't have enough in them to match their effort.

The game was lost in the first half when we dominated but didn't get the score on the board. Even then you could see that their legs were weary but it didn't stop them running their hearts out.

We lost tonight, but I now believe we are capable of winning at AAMI in the finals if that is what it is going to take. Just need to wrap up a top 4 finish and that is well within their grasp.

Nah, we lost it in two intervals: 3 minutes in the 3rd quarter, and all through the last. Tiredness played a part in the last.

We should have won, but we didnt. We should have lost against Brisbane earlier in the year, but we didnt. It evens out.

I agree with liz, and as I posted at the time, we just didn't kick enough goals when we dominated, especially in the first quarter. The flow of AFL matches these is such that, in most games the other side will have their run during the match (for Adelaide the 3rd quarter) and they put the goals through.

If there is such a thing....that was a NOBLE loss...we didn't stop rowing (cept for 5 minutes at the start of the third quarter). Unfortunately, we couldn't find a way to score. Adelaide's defence was as good as our goal kicking was bad...
This may be a blessing in disguise as a fourth place finish would see us at Subie, and we CAN beat the weagles; a second or third place finish might see us pitted against the rampant boozers, who, darn it, look pretty good to me...
"Davis...Davis has kicked 2...he snaps from 40...dont tell me, dont tell me, hes kicked a goal....unbelievable stuff from Nick Davis, can you believe this, he's kicked 3 final quarter goals and Swans are within 3 points..."

Dont let the stats fool you mate, every one of those tackles were terrible. They were easily broken by smaller opponents and never locked the ball in. Someone has to teach him how to tackle, possibly send next door to the SFS to get the Roosters to show him, cos he was shockin tonight at tackling.
                  - Impossible is just a big word thrown around by small men who find it easier to live in a world they've been given, than to explore the power they have to change it. Impossible is not a fact, it's an opinion. Impossible is not a declaration, it's a dare. Impossible is potential. Impossible is temporary. Impossible is nothing!

I agree - we should have been comfortably 4 goals in front at half time.

Vogels was far from the worst - I think we all know who made more mistakes than everyone else.

I dont dare mention his name 1.

Oh, and Schneids - more than 1 week in a row is considered form.

Most frustrating player on the list.

Didn't see you in IF - can't remember any time on this board.

If you don't think Adelaide got 'home town' umpiring in the 3rd qtr then I am wrong.

                                Do you?
