Do you think we should have this thread framed and sent to LRT? I bet he's got the other ones.

Also, if we hadn't heard about SOS what do you think we'd be putting down LRT's improvement to? Just exceptionally good player development from a player given the opportunity to develop on the field?

Yeah, the anti-LRT brigade are placing a bit too much emphasis on SOS's involvement IMO. A convenient "out" I guess.

Or simply a reflection of what's happening...

If SOS Is such a great success, who else do we need to come in and teach our forwards to kick goals?

(If we got a mechanical bunny running back and forth between the big sticks then maybe Plugger?)

A great game from LRT. I actually saw him standing with his hand on his man instead of standing five yards away picking daisies. He isn't just playing himself into form, he is improving his football smarts - he isn't doing that on his own (SOS maybe or someone on the team?).

Provost and his obsession with hair!

Perhaps he could suggest something for Mr LRT?
                A buzz cut?

I don't care what hair style he has as long as:

                  (a) he gets a haircut;
                  (b) he doesn't take to wearing ROK's cursed headband - it's the last thing he needs after the improvement he's shown lately!

It urks me to no end.
As for a replacement style I'm not sure, perhaps someone could play around with photo-chop and submit some ideas

                    LRT + BBBH =

Dodgey I know but I only put i a couple of seconds effort.

That's the thing about LRT - skills or not, he ALWAYS gives a hard honest contest. The skills are coming, and apparently coming quickly. I'm an LRT fan and I agree with those who think the recent quantum leap in impact is mainly down to SOS. Not forgetting that LRT might be a quick learner!
He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)

Maybe we should give the bulk of the credit to the man himself, for persevering where others might have dropped their heads.

And some to the coaching staff for perservering with him, rather than taking the easy option and dropping him down to the reserves.

LRT definitely among our best - the most assured I've seen him since his debut year. Starting to look like even HE believes he should be out there.

And perhaps a bit of kudos to the fans who backed him all year.

Alot of credit must go to the Coaching staff for they definitely persevered when at times most supporters were getting frustrated with his skill level. It must be said that alot of supporters (based on reading this forum and attending matches)
wanted him out a long time ago.

I also give credit to the Coaching staff in giving Dempster a go - They are really trying to mould the backline of the future at the Swans - I believe it will pay off with both players.

I wonder if Bevan and Fixter will be back soon???
