We saw all types of Adelaide supporters, the friendly ones, the obnoxious ones and yes that was the 'best' (or should I say worse) mullet I have ever seen!

I really do think that they appear to be the worse supporters I have come across from some time, my previous worse experience was with Essendon supporters!

Doesn't surprise me. I don't know why everyone likes to tar everyone with the same brush - each supporter and each town has a mix. Sydney supporters hate it when we are pigeon-holed.

Really sorry to hear what went on at Football Park. I must say im not surprised with the build up before hand with the pro crow media pushing the theme make Football Park a place to fear this week.
I know some of you had minor problems with Port fans before, we are a little feral but we ARE genuine football fans. Unfortunately that's not always the case with crow fans.
I hope things like this don't put you off coming to our city. Maybe next time pick a Port game. At least you have room to move around.
Anyway our season is gone, so I say GO SWANS and good luck.

It wasn't all bad, I forgot to mention that the members of the Crows Cheersquad who helped us with the banner were very nice people, lending us a few of their members to help out and they took the banner off the field afterwards.


But can someone please explain the BBQ's going on in the shopping centre car park, not only before the game but after the game as well, I found that quite amusing.

yeah it always happens, they go there, have a few snags and a few drinks. Maybe that's why they're so aggresive...they're all drunk.

They have to get the drinking done then because once you are inside the ground you simply cannot drink at your seat at all.

I tend to find that fans are often a lot drunker and a lot more abusive at night matches. Brisbane during the day is pretty docile. At night the Queenslanders get really mouthy and stroppy. Likewise the snobby uppity Eagles supporters with their snide little comments.

The BBQs before our games in Adelaide are actually really interesting. The Port Outer Army always throw us an awesome BBQ when we play over there (and are still whinging about whether/when we are going to return the favour ).

Despite everything, I have made some great friends at the footy in SA. Come to the Port Outer Army BBQ next season and you will see why I don't hold the dislike for their supporters that others do.

If they were all stoned they wouldn't be hitting people. They might make stupid statements though.

The Conservative's requirement for a socioeconomic underclass and its support for alcohol consumption is more likely to contribute to such behaviour.

Whenever the TV broadcast cut to the crowd, it was really scary! 10 should have rated it PG13!

It looked like the trash from every trailer park in the southern hemisphere had been dumped in one place. Still, I'm sure they're luvly people in their spare time.

The cheersquad often have markedly different experiences than other Swans supporters attending away games.

It is an unfortunate fact that any group will always be damned by its most obnoxious members.

We met quite a few friendly and reasonable Crows supporters (including one, already quite pissed, who voluntarily directed us to the correct entry gate - at least, he confirmed that our already intended entry point was correct). In fact prior to the game there was no problem at all.

But there is something about visiting CS that brings out the worst in surrounding home supporters. Or perhaps it is just that the most obnoxious gather by choice around the visiting CS. It seemed that most of the surrounding crows (and some of them really were "crows") spent more time abusing us than actually cheering for their own team.

Do they really expect a CS not to wave flags and try to start chants?

The funniest thing though was after the game as we were walking back to our hotel through the normal after footy carpark exit gridlock. One carload of hoons spotted us and started to taunt and abuse us when suddenly the was a big "@@@@" as the driver realised he had failed to notice the queue had started moving and six other vehicles had snuck in in front of him. We all cracked up totally.

It's so lame when we go "SYDNEY" (clap, clap, clap) and they reply, "SUCK".

You couldn't even describe how feral our area was. Why do you think AAMI Stadium is the only place you get escorted out of?

After the game when we were walking back to the car, we came across lots of Crows supporters that weren't really rude at all. One wouldn't stop hugging me and kissing me. She told me I was small and that she only had a few beers to drink.
