The Swans sent out a first email to Melbourne members saying we have to purchase a ticket for a reserved seat through Ticketmaster7 paying between$5 something up to $21. Then a second email came saying if we get there from 5pm onwards we can get a seat for free. But it is in the back half upstairs and no guarantees. I would like to know what people are doing. I would pay the money if I could be guaranteed of sitting amongst Swans supporters but I don't know if this is the case. Does anyone know?

There was a second email out about seating.

Following recent discussions with Telstra Dome in regards to the Round 19 game we are happy to announce that
Swans members can upgrade their membership to a reserved seat on the night of the game at NO charge.

Members who go to the Ticketmaster booth on the Saturday night at the ground will be able to upgrade their membership to a reserved seat anywhere in Rows M - X and the area behind both goals on Level 3 at NO charge. This is subject to capacity.

        Ticket booths open from 5pm.

If you would like to sit anywhere else or want to be guaranteed a seat then please contact Ticketmaster prior to the game.

Cheer Squad members - please note a letter was sent to you yesterday regarding your procedure for this game.

What about non-Melbourne (Sydney) based members? Can we buy tickets to sit with Melbourne based Swans supporters, even if its not at a cheaper or free rate? I dont wanna find myself surrounded by Essendon supporters as we trounce them on Saturday night.

Best seats in the house, my friend.

The WHOLE game is ticketed and the CS members need to get tickets aswell.

Got this message from the Melbourne office.

                  Hi Julian,

We have asked the Melbourne based cheersquad members to let us know by Wednesday if they are going to the game as we could only have 200 tickets. As we have 187 people in our cheersquad have to give them first chance then we will offer those Sydney based cheersquad members the tickets and they will be at a general admission price.

We are almost certain that we will have enough to go around for those people from the Sydney cheersquad who are coming to the game but if you could give our office a call on Wednesday and we can get this organised for you.

I hope you had a good time in Adelaide!!!

This is from the horses mouth. I'll keep you posted, those of you who want to go to Melbourne (ie Pete, Glenn etc)

Purchased 6 reserved seats today. At $21.00 to reserve a seat it's not cheap. It's around $39.00 for a seat with no Melborune membership.

For anyone interested, we are on Level 1 in Aisle 22 which is at the Lockett end of the ground where the Cheer Squad will be located and the Swans Players race will be.

If anyone is planning on getting a reserved seat on Level 1 and wants to be around some Swans supporters then you are best off asking for something around Aisle's 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26 or 27 on Level 1. Although Aisle's 21 to 25 should be more concentrated areas of Swans supporters.

Also just bought reserved seats in aisle 22 downstairs. Pure luck that we got a Swans area! Phew. Worth the money to be away from Bombers supporters. There was very little left upstairs so I would advise members to reserve seats beforehand. All the lower rows upstairs were already gone and the Ticketmaster lady was talking about standing room.

For those coming down from Sydney for the game - avoid the 3rd level at telstra dome at all costs. Or bring binoculars.

James, why are you so concerned about the ticket arrangements for Telstra Dome when you're already there by the looks of your location.
