Liked the article Bron - what I took from it is that it's not too late for them to learn from that defeat in time for the finals. They were good enough to win it, but the forwards especially need to learn how to capitalise on the opportunities they wasted.

I like subjective comments about what people did on their days at the footy. It gives a great deal of personal flavour. Unfortunately due to the 2 or 3 posters incistant on turning every post I make into some attempt at talking myself up, I'll leave things like that to the others.

Interestingly you mentioned an SA-based after-match. We infact DID have one last year against the Power. The same regulars turned up.

It probably didn't warrent having another one, as people tend to scatter when we play in Adelaide.

But email Tony Morwood and see what he can do for next time round over there. There are actually quite a few Swans fans scattered around Adelaide if you look hard enough.

I asked one of the girls at the Melbourne Office if there was a pre or after match for this game and she said that they were not able to get a venue near the ground.
