    Essendon

Probably the most critical game of the remaining H&A series. One we need to win to get a top 4 spot, but backing up for our second road trip in a row (How can the AFL stuff up the draw like that?), against an improving enermy.

Test of our team to bounce back after Adelaide.

This year could be the year we finally do the Bombers in Melbourne. It's been a loooong time.

And at lease Alessio isn't lining up this time. (Last year doesn't count as we were totally arse raped by the umps. Goldstink anyone? + That call against C Bolts on Solomon).

A couple of positives going into this week:

            * No Alessio our tormentor in the past
            * Both Hird & Llyod have not been in the best of form

The big match up this week is on Lucas who is in great form.

            Come on down LRT............................................... ...

Solomon might be absent this time.

Bt the only worse decision is have seen was the piggy back ride on Hall that wasn't paid.

Goldstink is the most phucking (or faaaarking) biased maggott

                against us

But even worse he is sooooo biased towards the bombers

Heaven help us if he is appointed on saturday - we will have no chance

What's the bet he does? We haven't had him umpire us in a little while (And funnily enough we've been winning).

Come on down LRT??? (To play on Scotty Lucas)

                    Are you joking?

If I can be assured LRT is lining up on Lucas I am going straight down to the TAB to put all I have on Lucas being the leading goal scorer for the week.

With Leo Barry for Llyod and Craig Bolton for Hird (when playing forward) who else would be your match-up for Lucas?

I would say they are all fairly critical given the fact that there are so many teams jostling for position around us. Definitely a tester after two physical, energy-sapping matches against WC and Adelaide. I hope the lads are not too drained. The last month may have taken a lot out of them.

On another note, the Telstra Dome surface seems to have deteriorated to all-time lows. I watched the Bombers - Cats game on friday night and the place looked like a sandpit. Worst I've ever seen it.

Any other options? He has been groomed to take players like Lucas down the track. Giving him the job now will give a solid indication of his development, as Lucas seems to be hitting some decent form. The Hyph has grown on me over the last few weeks...

McVeigh has been offered a week which he'll probably take and Solomon is booked in for knee surgery on Thursday.

Should be fair and safe to say that we will not have Goldspink this Saturday night for the game against the Bombers as he umpired them last game against the Cats.

Umpires do not umpire the same team, two weeks in a row.
                              I am fearing McClaren though!
