Not sure why u are so upset? footballers are encouraged to have a routine so that they make sure the cover the entire kicking action each and every time they have a shot for goal.

Not on the punt is he?

Lloyd is a bimbo. Honestly has anyone ever chatted or heard this guy speak. He really does have air between his ears.

As for Nick Davis. Really starting to ask serious questions about him. He isnt doing much at all and is missing easy shots at goal. And two handballs last night were shocking. One to Hird and the other when we were in attack.

What can be done about Nick Davis?

One that goes for a minute? I agree with crusier about the grass throwing too. It was funny the first time but after that...
If Tony Lockett had have got the same treatment from umpires that Matthew Lloyd gets he would have kicked 2000 goals

Tell him to forget about being fit, about doing all the right things, and about trying to fit into the Paul Roos prescribed 'this is what a footballer does and thinks' model. Tell him to train when he wants, eat what he wants and do what he likes when he likes with whoever he likes. That is his responsibility. Tell him he is in the side to kick 2-4 goals a match, that his contract size and length are dependant on his ability to kick goals. ATM he is trying to hard to be the model footballer and it is coming at the expense of his natural talent. Give him his head and his KFC and let him loose. 'We like your old stuff better than your new stuff ' Nick.

I can't stand Lloyd but does the grass thing indoors because it's part of his routine and it's worked for him. Bloody annoys me the way he gets soft free kicks though. As for Davis, Roos said after the game that he thought it was one of those nights where his touch was slightly off and he could have kicked 4 or 5 if some of the marks he just dropped at the end had stuck. No excuse for missing those very gettable goals though, just a case of the yips. I also think that the dome doesn't suit him when he's stuck up forward as most of the attacks are through Big Barry who loves TD and plays great footy there. Roos also reiterated the point that the team has improved since the key personnel has returned and the better players are playing well. He was happy with MOL's contribution. It's interesting to note that the opposition teams have recently been playing young, inexperienced players on. Probably trying to get them to run off him, or learn from him but at their peril methinks.
